Something I personally love is low fidelity graphics and story telling that allows your imagination to fill in the gaps. This was great fun to explore (it reminds me of Zelda, inspired by Miyamoto's adventures exploring as a kid) but if there was an end, it wasn't clear.
Seriously, I couldn't stop grinning when I encountered the hermit crab. I wanted to see every little thing. I love the descriptions. This game has filled me with a childlike sense of wonder and THE NEED! TO! EXPLORE!

Was there an ending to this one? I found the flag and the quartz and interacted with all the light blue items. Hope I'm not missing anything.
The light blue on yellow is a bit hard to see, though I do really like the simplistic aesthetic otherwise.
